k-os - “Zambony”

While looking for producers to work with on Indaba Music for RRR’s “Countries of Africa” remix session I stumbled across k-os, a Canadian hip-hop-hybrid artist.  “Zambony” is “M.I.A. meets Justice and The Cool Kidz” and is off his fourth and latest album, “Yes!”.

Don’t miss “4, 3, 2, 1” off the same album.  “I thought how interesting would it be to do a hip hop version of this song? It’s about the battle of the sexes, where I’m rapping ‘what are we fighting for?’”

(By the way, the remixes on the Deluxe edition of the album came from a contest he held on Indaba Music.)
