Strong Takes Relaunch

After a flurry of content migration and coding, we’ve relaunched Strong Takes with a spiffy new website. Strong Takes is a daily (since March 2008) news-based publication where one of our writers takes a quote from a real news story and riffs on it. Jesse Andrews serves as Managing Editor and lead writer and is routinely hilarious. His conference chats and fake scripts are some of my favorites.

I built the old site in Expression Engine with hand-coded CSS, but it lacked some important features and I could never muster the will to dig in and re-write the code. The new site is powered by Wordpress and makes it way (way!) easier to navigate through archives and share stories with your friends.
