I’m becoming more interested in actual writing and honing in on my obsession and voice, and consequently enjoy discovering reputable online authors and thinking about what makes them unique. It seems that once someone has established a decent track record for themselves, they’ll stamp something on their site like, “I write about x topic(s) and have been since 2005” or 2002 or 1975 or whatever. But not everyone communicates it so elegantly.
UPDATE: Anil Dash co-founded Six Apart (makers of Movable Type, among other things), which helps explain why he’s been blogging with it for so long.
