Kelis vs. Beanie Sigel - All The Milkshake
I had “la-la, la-la… la” in my head and realized I was hearing it from two different songs: “All the Above” by Beanie Sigel feat. R. Kelly, and “Milkshake” by Kelis. It’s sloppy, but here’s a mashup of the two using YouTube tracks I recorded online and threw into Ableton Live.
It’s worth noting that the tracks lined up perfectly once I figured out a good place to start. Pop is predictable. Also, the guys shouting “What! What!” in the chorus 1/3 of the way through are serendipitous.
