Are you the shoe store with the coffee shop next to it?
Ate breakfast at a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop this morning. Just realized I left something there. Wanted to find out if they actually have it before I head across town to retrieve it, but had no idea what it’s called. What would you do?
I looked up the street on Google maps street view, found a story nearby with lettering I could make out (“Shoe shine shoe repair”), looked that up, called them, and asked for the number of “that coffee shop” next to them. Bingo.
If there were a way to give the shoe shine guy a tip via phone I would have done it.
